What is Starleads?
Starleads (starleads.in) is an Indian online store for B2B contact lists: ready-made Excel lists of businesses and professionals by industry, state and city, with names, mobile numbers, emails and addresses where available. Who runs Starleads?
Starleads is run by its founder, Saurabh Khatri (registered business name: Saurabh, trading as Starleads). Starleads (starleads.in) is not connected to starleads.io, starleads.co or other companies with a similar name.
Where does the data come from?
The lists are compiled from business directories and similar sources, and cleaned before they are sold: duplicates are merged and records whose contact details belong to a different business are dropped. Starleads sells business and professional contacts only: no consumer lists, and no lists of people picked out by their wealth, investments or other personal details. Contact details change over time, so every list page shows 60 sample contacts and how many records have each detail before you buy.
How much does a contact list cost?
Every city, state and specialisation list costs ₹499, whatever its size. Bulk data, an industry's All-India list with 10,000 or more contacts, costs ₹1,999; smaller All-India lists cost ₹499. A custom list from the list builder costs ₹499 per industry, or ₹1,999 for an industry across most of India. Prices are before GST: 18% GST is added at checkout, with a GST tax invoice (add your GSTIN to claim input tax credit); buyers outside India pay no GST.
Can I see the data before I buy?
Yes. Every list shows 60 real contacts on its page (phone numbers and emails partly masked) and how many records have each detail, and the 60-contact sample can be downloaded free as an Excel file.
Is the data verified?
Not number by number: nobody calls each contact before a list is sold. Every list is cleaned instead: duplicates are merged, records whose details belong to a different business are dropped, contacts whose website no longer exists were removed, and dead or mistyped email addresses were cleared or fixed. Contact details change over time, so check the free 60-contact sample on the list's page before you buy.
How old is the data?
Each list's page shows the month the list was last cleaned and rebuilt. People change numbers and businesses close, so some details in any list will have gone out of date: the free sample shows the real quality.
Are the mobile numbers on WhatsApp?
Most Indian business mobile numbers are, but Starleads doesn't check each number, so some won't be. For WhatsApp marketing, follow WhatsApp's own rules and message people who have agreed to hear from you.
Will the emails bounce?
Some will. In October 2026 about 3.7 lakh addresses on domains that no longer receive mail were removed and common typing mistakes were fixed, but individual mailboxes aren't tested. Send in small batches from a warmed-up address and remove bounced addresses as they come.
Does the data include age or gender?
No. The lists are business contacts: business name, contact person and designation where known, category, mobile and alternate mobile, landline, email, website, address, locality, city, state and PIN code. Each list's page shows how many records have each detail.
How do I pay?
By UPI: scan the store's UPI QR code with any UPI app, such as Google Pay, PhonePe or Paytm, or by bank transfer (IMPS, NEFT or RTGS) to the account shown with the order, and tap “I’ve paid” on the order page. Starleads confirms the payment and releases the files. Buyers outside India can also pay in US dollars by PayPal or card on the order page; the files are prepared as soon as PayPal confirms the payment.
How is the list delivered?
As an Excel workbook (an overview, the data sheet and a field guide) in your Starleads account once the payment is confirmed, with an email link. The download link works for 30 days. Lists above 2.5 lakh contacts come as a ZIP with one workbook per state.
How do I use the Excel file?
Open it in Excel or Google Sheets. The Data sheet has one contact per row: filter or sort it by city, PIN code or category. The Overview sheet sums up what's inside, and the Field Guide sheet explains each column. To load the contacts into a CRM, an email tool or a dialler, save the Data sheet as CSV and import it.
Is there a list for my industry or city?
Each of the 201 industries is sold All-India, state by state and city by city, plus narrower specialisations, covering 414 cities. The general business directory, with businesses of every kind, is sold by state and city only. If a list is missing, request it and Starleads replies with a count and a price, usually within a working day.
Can I combine several industries, states and cities?
Yes, with the list builder: pick up to 10 industries and any states or cities, and keep only contacts that have a mobile number, an email or a contact person. The count and price show before you buy.
Do I get an invoice?
Yes. Every paid order has an invoice to download from its order page: a GST tax invoice from Starleads, GSTIN 07GPWPS1534C1ZJ.
How is Starleads different from IndiaMART or Justdial?
IndiaMART is a marketplace and Justdial a local directory: you search and contact businesses one at a time, or pay for a package to receive buyers' enquiries. Starleads sells a ready list of an industry's businesses in a city, a state or all of India as one Excel file, at one fixed price, with a free sample first.
What if a file is faulty?
Before delivery an order can be cancelled for a full refund. After delivery, files that are corrupt or materially different from the description are replaced or refunded if reported within 7 days.
Can I use the numbers for calls and SMS?
For lawful B2B marketing, yes. Check numbers against the TRAI NCPR (Do Not Disturb) registry before promotional calls or SMS, say who you are, and stop contacting anyone who asks you to.
How can someone have their details removed?
Anyone whose phone number or email appears in the lists can ask on the Remove my data page. Once verified, it is left out of every future sample and download.
Why do older Starleads posts mention 60 crore leads?
Those posts and the previous version of this website are out of date. The figures on this site come from the live catalogue: 1.60 Cr contacts in 201 industries, counted after duplicates were merged and unusable records removed.
