ZoomInfo in short
ZoomInfo is a sales platform and contact database. It calls itself an "all-in-one AI GTM Platform" for sales, marketing, RevOps and customer success teams. It was founded in 2007 and is headquartered in Vancouver, Washington. You get contact and company profiles, mobile numbers and business emails, buyer intent, website-visitor data and workflows, depending on the plan. Its global claims include "500M contacts", "100M companies", "120M+ direct-dial phone numbers" and "200M+ verified business emails", and outside North America "200M+ professional profiles" and "45M+ mobile numbers". It publishes no figure for India.
ZoomInfo pricing. ZoomInfo does not publish prices. Its pricing page offers "Get Pricing" and demos, with no amounts or currency. Its own blog says pricing "is consumption-based and varies by organization", that paid plans are "custom-quoted", and that "ZoomInfo paid plans are annual subscriptions": most are billed annually upfront, monthly billing is not standard, and plans include a minimum number of seats. The sales plans are Professional, Copilot Advanced and Copilot Enterprise. Marketing plans include Marketing Demand (75K credits included), ABM Lite and ABM Enterprise (150K credits included).
Credits. Credits are used only when you export: "Each export costs one credit", whether a contact or company profile goes to a CSV file or to an application such as a CRM. Packages include a set number of monthly credits, and more can be bought. Pre-packaged integrations "carry a base cost and may require a minimum bulk credit purchase". Whether unused credits roll over isn't stated, so ask.
Free options. ZoomInfo Lite is a permanent free tier with 10 credits a month (25 with Community Edition), according to ZoomInfo's blog. The free trial of the sales plans is "typically" 7 days, needs no credit card and comes with usage limits that aren't specified.

Where ZoomInfo is the better choice
- Named people at large companies, worldwide. ZoomInfo is built to find a particular executive and their direct dial or email. Starleads can't look up one named person, and covers India only.
- Signals, not just contacts. Buyer intent, website visitors and workflows tell a team whom to approach and when. Starleads sells contact lists only.
- CRM-centred teams. Exports go straight to a CRM, with integrations and a Chrome extension, and Enterprise lists custom integrations. Starleads has no CRM integration or API.
- Company procurement. ZoomInfo takes cards, ACH, wire, EFT and checks, which suits a large company's buying process. Starleads takes UPI or bank transfer only, confirmed by hand.
Where Starleads is the better choice
- A price you can see. ₹499 a list, shown on every list page, with no sales call or quote.
- No annual commitment. You pay once per list, with no seats, minimums or renewals.
- Indian businesses by city and industry. Lists are built around Indian places and trades, which suits a business selling to many Indian customers. Our CEOs, MDs & Directors list has 38,331 contacts in 224 cities, 99% with an email and 83% with a mobile number.
- You see the data first. Every list page shows 60 real contacts, partly masked, and the share of rows with each field.
- CEOs, MDs & Directors 38,331 contacts · 99% email · 83% mobile ₹1,999
- Purchase & Procurement Heads 7,20,929 contacts · 28% email · 93% mobile ₹1,999

What Starleads doesn't do. The data is compiled from business directories and similar sources, so not every row has an email or a named person, and contact details change. There is no look-up of one named executive, no card or gateway payment, no CRM integration or API, and no data outside India. Before calling, check numbers against the DND register; our DND guide explains how.

Our verdict
ZoomInfo fits large sales and marketing teams that work in a CRM, sell to named people at big companies around the world, and can commit to an annual, quoted contract. For an Indian business with a smaller budget that wants to reach many Indian companies or professionals of one kind, a published price per list and no contract usually matter more, and that is what Starleads offers. If you need both named accounts and wide coverage, a contact-finder with published prices plus a list is a sensible middle path.
