TradeIndia in short

TradeIndia is a B2B marketplace run by Infocom Network Private Limited, New Delhi. Sellers get a catalogue or mini-website, product listings, enquiries, badges and promotion; buyers post requirements, which TradeIndia calls buy leads or Trade Leads. It claims 1,19,27,984 registered users and "over 4.5 million verified and trusted TradeIndia sellers".

A buy lead shows the product, specification, quantity, city or state and date. The buyer's contact is masked, you sign in to see buy leads, and a "Contact Buyer Now" button opens an enquiry form. TradeIndia's pages don't say whether free members can see buyer contacts, or how many buy leads each package includes.

Membership packages run from INR 74,999 (SME Biz Connect) to INR 18,42,499 for domestic sellers, with international packages from USD 926.31. The cheapest includes a three-page catalogue with a showroom of up to 25 products and an enquiry form, domain booking and a basic SSL certificate. GST and the subscription length are not stated, and the offer price is valid till 31 October 2026. Registration is free ("Join Free"), though what a free account includes isn't described.

TradeIndia vs IndiaMART

Both are B2B marketplaces where buyers post requirements and sellers pay for packages. The differences on their own pages: IndiaMART's cheapest published package is Rs. 40,000 for one year, exclusive of taxes, against TradeIndia's INR 74,999 with GST and term unstated. IndiaMART says an opened BuyLead shows the buyer's name, number, email and address (if available); TradeIndia doesn't say what each package unlocks. IndiaMART claims 23.4 crore buyers, TradeIndia 1,19,27,984 registered users, counted differently. TradeIndia's cheapest package includes a catalogue website and domain booking. The practical test: register free on both and watch the enquiries in your category before paying either.

Where TradeIndia is the better choice

  • Buyers with a stated need. A buy lead names the product, quantity and place, so the buyer is already in the market. A Starleads list is cold outreach.
  • A web presence. Even the cheapest package includes a catalogue website, domain booking and an SSL certificate. Starleads gives you no listing or website.
  • Promotion. Higher packages add TrustStamp, a "Made In India" tag, a sponsored banner, a Premium Seller tag and WhatsApp enquiry alerts.
  • Buyers can find you. Once listed, your catalogue can bring enquiries while you work, without your team making a single call.

Where Starleads is the better choice

  • You choose your buyers. If you know who buys from you, say exporters in Mumbai or distributors in Maharashtra, a list puts them in one file at once.
  • A small, one-off cost. ₹499 a list, or ₹1,999 for a bulk All-India list, against a package from INR 74,999.
  • A file you keep, to sort by city or PIN code, share among telecallers or load into a dialler.
  • Refunds. Starleads gives a full refund before delivery, and a replacement or refund for a corrupt or materially different file reported within 7 days. TradeIndia's terms say refunds are at its discretion and membership charges aren't refunded on termination.

Starleads' limits: the data is compiled from business directories and similar sources, so not every row has an email or a named person, and contact details change. You can't look up one named executive. Payment is by UPI or bank transfer only, confirmed by hand. There is no API or CRM integration, and the lists cover India only. Calls and SMS must follow TRAI's DND rules; see our DND check guide.

Our verdict

TradeIndia suits manufacturers and suppliers who want a catalogue website and buyer enquiries, and can budget for a package from INR 74,999; compare it with IndiaMART by registering free on both first. If you would rather choose your buyers and call or email them yourself, a Starleads list does that for far less, without the website or the inbound enquiries.
