Starleads wrote this guide. Starleads sells business contact lists and is not one of the tools compared here. Facts about the tools come from their own websites, checked on 20 October 2026; prices change, so check before you buy.
The quick answer
For most small Indian teams the choice comes down to price per user, rupee or dollar billing, and how easily the CRM takes the leads you have in Excel. Zoho CRM and Bigin have free plans and rupee prices with GST on top. Kylas charges one flat fee for unlimited users. LeadSquared's features lean toward larger calling and field teams. Freshsales and Bitrix24 also price in rupees; HubSpot prices in US dollars.
Which one to pick
- Zoho CRM: a growing team that wants a full CRM, a free plan for 3 users and room to automate later.
- Bigin by Zoho CRM: a small business leaving spreadsheets, on a tight budget.
- LeadSquared: a large sales or telecalling team with field staff and unlimited contacts.
- Kylas: a larger team that would rather pay one flat fee than a price per user.
- Freshsales: a team that wants a low per-user entry price and a 21-day trial.
- Bitrix24: a business that wants CRM, tasks and chat at one price for the whole organisation.
- HubSpot: a team marketing to contacts who opted in, wanting a free CRM for 2 users.
Seven CRMs compared
Prices are as shown on the tools' own pricing pages on 20 October 2026. "Annual" means the monthly rate when you pay for a year in advance.
| Starting price | Free plan or trial | Best at | India notes | |

| Bigin | Express: ₹400 per user a month annual, ₹550 monthly | Free for 1 user and 500 records; 15-day trial | Simple pipelines for small businesses | Rupee prices; GST added |
| LeadSquared | Sales Pro: ₹2,500 per user a month, billed annually | None shown; you talk to sales | Large sales and field teams | Rupee prices; unlimited contacts |

Zoho CRM pricing
Zoho CRM covers leads, deals, workflows, reports and a mobile app. Its four paid editions, per user a month:
- Standard: ₹800 billed annually or ₹1,300 billed monthly: workflows, assignment rules, cadences, dashboards, forecasting.
- Professional: ₹1,400 or ₹2,100: adds CPQ, process automation and inventory.
- Enterprise: ₹2,400 or ₹3,000: adds territory management and customer portals.
- Ultimate: ₹2,600 or ₹3,200: higher limits, consulting and migration help.
"Local taxes (VAT, GST, etc.) will be charged in addition to the prices mentioned," the page says. The Free Edition is free forever for 3 users. It works in 28 languages, Hindi among them.
Importing leads. Zoho CRM imports CSV, XLS and XLSX files up to 25 MB. Rows per import depend on the edition: 1,000 on Free, 20,000 on Standard, 50,000 on Professional. To prevent duplicates you pick a unique field, and rows matching an existing record on it are skipped. Limits. 3 users and 1,000 rows per import on Free; CPQ and territories only in higher editions. Who it suits: teams that expect to grow; among Zoho CRM alternatives, Bigin and Freshsales are closest on price.
Bigin by Zoho CRM: pricing and the free plan
Bigin is Zoho's simpler CRM for small businesses moving off spreadsheets, with pipelines, contacts, activities and a built-in phone. Per user a month:
- Free: ₹0 for a single user, one pipeline and 500 records.
- Express: ₹400 billed yearly or ₹550 monthly: 3 team pipelines, 50,000 records, email and WhatsApp Business integration.
- Premier: ₹720 or ₹900: 5 pipelines, 100,000 records, duplicate clean-up and AI features.
- Bigin 360: ₹1,080 or ₹1,260: 15 pipelines and 1 million records.
GST is added. The 15-day trial needs no card, and when it ends you move to the free plan instead of being charged. Paid plans include help with importing data. Bigin takes CSV, Excel and vCard files, and lets you remove anything imported for 30 days afterwards. Limits. 500 records fill up fast: a 2,000-row list needs Express. Who it suits: owners and small teams. "Zoho Bigin" is sold separately from Zoho CRM.
LeadSquared CRM pricing
LeadSquared's Sales CRM lists lead scoring, duplicate blocking, lead distribution and a mobile CRM with check-in tracking, offline mode and "Leads Near Me" for field staff. Two plans, both with unlimited contacts:
- Sales Pro: ₹2,500 per user a month, billed annually, with 2GB of storage plus 20MB per user.
- Sales Super: ₹5,000 per user a month, billed annually, with 10GB plus 20MB per user.
The buttons say "Let's Talk": no free plan is shown, and you buy through sales. Importing leads. Its help page says the file must be CSV, so save Excel files as CSV first. The default limit is 25,000 leads per import, which support can raise to 300,000, and an import can't be stopped or undone once started. A lead counts as a duplicate when its email address already exists. Limits. Annual billing on the pricing page, and the highest per-user price here. Who it suits: large calling or field teams.
Kylas: flat pricing for unlimited users
Kylas is a sales CRM from Kylas Technologies in Pune, priced as a flat fee with unlimited users:
- Embark: free for life, unlimited users, core lead, contact and deal management; no telephony, SMS or WhatsApp, and imports of 250 records per batch.
- Elevate: ₹12,999 a month as a flat fee, on quarterly, half-yearly or annual plans: 100,000 records (expandable), telephony, SMS, WhatsApp integration, call logging, API access, imports of 10,000 per batch. 7-day free trial, no card.
- Exceed: a custom plan with phone support and an account manager.
Add-ons are in rupees, such as 20,000 more records for ₹500 a month. Importing leads. Kylas imports CSV. Its help page says phone numbers should start with the country code, such as +91, and the Owner column must hold a Kylas user's email address. Limits. No monthly billing; email tracking, BI and field sales tracking are add-ons on Elevate. Who it suits: a team big enough that per-user prices add up. Five LeadSquared users at ₹2,500 cost ₹12,500 a month; from the sixth user, Kylas's flat fee is cheaper.
Freshsales pricing
Freshsales is the CRM from Freshworks. Per user a month:
- Growth: ₹749 billed annually or ₹899 monthly: Kanban view, lifecycle stages, chat, email and phone, basic workflows.
- Pro: ₹3,239 or ₹3,889: adds contact scoring, territory management and sales sequences.
- Enterprise: ₹4,899 or ₹5,879: adds forecasting insights, custom modules and audit logs.
After the 21-day trial you pay by card; the page notes American Express and Discover aren't accepted for rupee payments. Importing leads. CSV or XLSX files of 5MB or less, and the last name must be mapped, so copy the business name into that column where a row has no contact name. Duplicates can be skipped on email or phone. Limits. Sequences start on Pro, a big step up from Growth. Who it suits: teams wanting a low-cost start with an upgrade path.
Bitrix24 pricing in India
Bitrix24 adds tasks, chat and a website builder to its CRM, priced per organisation, not per user:
- Free: basic CRM, tasks, calendars and chat, 5 GB storage; telephony only on paid plans.
- Basic: ₹1,910 a month billed annually or ₹2,990 monthly, up to 5 users: pipelines, email integration, telephony.
- Standard: ₹4,790 or ₹6,890, up to 50 users: unlimited leads, sales automation, WhatsApp marketing.
- Professional: ₹9,590 or ₹13,790, up to 100 users.
There is a 15-day trial with no card, and the FAQ says purchases may be subject to GST. Importing leads. CSV only: download its template, fill it, upload and match the fields. Only administrators or permitted users can import. Who it suits: a business that wants one workspace for sales and everything else.
HubSpot: the free CRM and Starter
HubSpot's free tools cover up to 2 users with no card, and its FAQ says you can add 1,000 contacts before you need a paid product. Sales Hub Starter shows $20 per seat a month crossed out and "Starts at $7/mo/seat" as special pricing for new customers, "for a limited time". Prices are in US dollars only.
Importing leads. HubSpot takes CSV, XLSX or XLS files and matches contacts on email. Its import help page asks you to tick a consent checkbox to "agree that contacts expect to hear from you and that your import file does not include a purchased list". So a bought list, ours included, should not go into HubSpot. Who it suits: teams whose contacts come from their own website, forms and events.
How to choose a CRM in India
- Rupees or dollars, and GST. HubSpot bills in dollars, so the cost moves with the exchange rate; the others show rupees. Zoho and Bigin add GST, and Bitrix24 says it may apply: budget 18% more where it does.
- Per user or flat. Per-user plans cost more with every hire. Kylas and Bitrix24 charge a flat fee up to a user limit.
- Record and import limits. Check free-plan caps (500 records on Bigin, 1,000 contacts on HubSpot) and rows per import before loading a list of thousands.
- Calling. Teams that mostly call need telephony: Bigin's built-in phone, Kylas Elevate, Bitrix24 Basic. For SIM-based calling apps, see our telecalling app comparison.
- The rules. A CRM doesn't make outreach legal. Check numbers against the DND register before promotional calls (DND guide), send WhatsApp Business Platform messages only to people who opted in (WhatsApp guide), and set up SPF, DKIM and DMARC before emailing (email authentication). This is not legal advice.
Where the leads come from: filling a new CRM
Every CRM here sorts, assigns and reminds, but none gives you a market of buyers to contact. Growth needs a steady supply of new contacts.
A Starleads list fills that gap the same day: every business of one trade in a city, a state or India, in Excel. The list page shows the share of rows with a mobile, an email, an address and a contact name, plus 60 sample contacts, before you buy. The catalogue holds 1,59,87,535 contacts across 201 industries and 414 cities. A city, state or specialisation list costs ₹499 and an All-India bulk list ₹1,999, with no GST added. The biggest All-India lists:
- IT & Networking Professionals 7,52,053 contacts · 96% email · 99% mobile ₹1,999
- Purchase & Procurement Heads 7,19,174 contacts · 23% email · 93% mobile ₹1,999
- General & Senior Managers 3,81,933 contacts · 97% email · 97% mobile ₹1,999
- Business Owners & Proprietors 3,27,366 contacts · 2% email · 98% mobile ₹1,999
- Company Secretaries 3,21,569 contacts · 97% email · 99% mobile ₹1,999
For your own mix of industries and cities, use the list builder.
An import routine for any of these CRMs:
- Download the Excel file and keep the columns you need: business, contact name, mobile, email, city, area.
- Tidy it: +91 before mobiles for Kylas, a last-name column for Freshsales, CSV for LeadSquared, Kylas and Bitrix24.
- Check numbers against the DND register and mark those you must not call for promotion.
- Import, map the columns, and handle duplicates on the mobile number where the CRM allows it.
- Assign leads to callers by area and set a follow-up task for each.
Keep a bought list out of bulk email and newsletter features: call, and send one-to-one emails from your own mailbox in small volumes (see our cold email software guide).
What Starleads doesn't do. The data is compiled from business directories and similar sources, so not every row has an email or a named person, and contact details change. There is no look-up of one named executive, no CRM integration or API (you import the file yourself), and no data outside India. Orders are paid by UPI or bank transfer, confirmed by hand.
What it costs: a worked example
A team of 3 users, paying month by month for one month:
- Bigin Express: 3 × ₹550 = ₹1,650, plus GST.
- Freshsales Growth: 3 × ₹899 = ₹2,697.
- Bitrix24 Basic: ₹2,990, the same for 3 users as for 5.
- Zoho CRM Standard: 3 × ₹1,300 = ₹3,900, plus GST.
- HubSpot Starter at $20 (before the offer): 3 × $20 = $60, about ₹5,280 at roughly ₹88 to the dollar; the rupee amount moves with the exchange rate.
Paying yearly cuts Bigin Express to 3 × ₹400 = ₹1,200 a month and Zoho CRM Standard to 3 × ₹800 = ₹2,400, plus GST, paid twelve months up front. Then add the leads: a city list at ₹499 or an All-India list at ₹1,999, paid once. A first month on Bigin Express with one city list comes to ₹1,650 plus GST, and ₹499. As a plainly hypothetical example, if a list gives your team 500 numbers and 1 call in 20 leads to a meeting, that is 25 meetings for the CRM to track. Your own rate will differ.
Our verdict
For a small Indian team starting out, Bigin or Zoho CRM's free plan is the lowest-risk start, with clear rupee prices to grow into. Freshsales is close on price, with a 21-day trial. Kylas makes sense once per-user prices add up past its flat fee, and LeadSquared once you run a large calling or field team with the budget to match. Bitrix24 suits businesses wanting one workspace; HubSpot suits teams whose contacts opted in. Whichever you choose, plan where the leads will come from before you pay for seats.
