The quick answer
No government office publishes a list of Gurgaon's hospitals with the names and numbers a supplier needs. Haryana's Clinical Establishments Act register, NABH's accreditation search and the state's tender portal each answer a narrower question. For a ready contact sheet, Starleads' Hospitals & Nursing Homes in Gurugram list had 358 rows on 26 October 2026, 75% of them with a mobile number, and the Doctors & Clinics in Gurugram list had 2,185 more. Both cost ₹499, and you can download 60 rows of each free before you decide.
This guide is for medical suppliers, labs, software firms and service companies that sell to Gurgaon's hospitals. If you need treatment, contact a hospital directly; in an emergency dial 112.
How Gurgaon's hospital market is made up
Gurgaon, officially Gurugram, is the district headquarters of Gurugram district in Haryana. Its hospitals follow Haryana's rules and Haryana's tender system, not Delhi's, even though many of their patients and suppliers come from Delhi. Sellers usually meet four kinds of buyer:
- Large private multi-speciality hospitals along Golf Course Road, Sohna Road, the Mehrauli–Gurgaon Road and the newer sectors. They have a purchase department, biomedical engineers, a pharmacy head and an administrator, and they often buy for a whole hospital group. Expect vendor registration, a technical evaluation and a negotiated rate contract.
- Nursing homes and maternity homes in the old city (around Railway Road, Civil Lines, Khandsa Road and the low-numbered sectors) and in colonies such as the DLF phases and Sushant Lok. The owner doctor usually decides, often within days.
- Speciality centres: eye hospitals, IVF and fertility clinics, skin and cosmetic clinics, physiotherapy, dental chains, trauma centres along the highway, and ayurveda and homoeopathy centres.
- Government hospitals, which buy through Haryana's health department, tender portal and the Government e-Marketplace (GeM). A sales call does not put you on their supplier list; a valid bid does.
Gurgaon also has a manufacturing side that matters to hospital sellers. IMT Manesar, on NH-48 beyond the city, houses medical device and supplies firms, and some of them turn up in hospital lists because directories file them under "hospital supplies". That is useful to know when you clean a list, and it means some of your competitors are a short drive away.
What Haryana's registration rule really covers
Many guides say that every hospital in Haryana is registered under the Clinical Establishments Act. That is only partly true, and the gap matters if you plan to use the register as a list.
The Union health ministry's Clinical Establishments Act portal says that Haryana is one of the states that have adopted the Clinical Establishments (Registration and Regulation) Act, 2010, and that the central Act itself covers "all types (both therapeutic and diagnostic types)" of establishments, including single doctor clinics. But the Haryana health department's page on the Act describes a narrower scope for the state. Haryana adopted the Act on 22 March 2018, and it applies to clinical establishments of all systems of medicine "having more than fifty beds" from 4 April 2018, and to laboratories and other diagnostic and investigative services from 14 March 2019.
Three practical points follow:
- A nursing home with 20 beds may not be in the register at all, so the register undercounts exactly the small hospitals that are easiest to sell to.
- Labs and diagnostic centres are covered whatever their size, so asking for a registration certificate is a fair check before you sign a tie-up with one.
- Registration is handled by a District Registering Authority. The same Haryana page lists its members: the Deputy Commissioner as chairperson, the Civil Surgeon as convenor, the Superintendent of Police or a nominee, the Municipal Commissioner, and the president of the district Indian Medical Association branch. For Gurgaon, that is the Gurugram district administration and the Civil Surgeon's office.
The page also lists the fees: for example ₹2,000 for provisional and ₹8,000 for permanent registration of an establishment with 51 to 100 beds, and ₹500 and ₹2,000 for a lab. None of this gives you a contact person or tells you what a hospital buys.
The free sources, and what each one tells you
We checked each of these on 26 October 2026.
| Source | Useful for | Not useful for |
|---|---|---|
| Haryana health department, Clinical Establishment Act | Which establishments must register (above 50 beds, and labs), who registers them, and the fees | A list of hospitals with buyers' names and numbers |
| NABH "Find an Accredited Healthcare Organisation" | Checking whether a hospital, eye centre, lab or dental clinic holds NABH accreditation or certification | The many nursing homes that are not accredited; anyone beyond the front desk |
| eProcurement System, Government of Haryana | State tenders, which it says you can download "free of cost" and bid for online, searchable by location and organisation | Private hospital purchases, which are never posted there |
| Haryana health department quotation notice | A standing notice inviting quotations from eligible firms, posted on 8 July 2026 and open until 7 July 2027 | Private hospitals |
| Starleads' Gurugram hospital list | Names, contact people, mobiles, landlines, emails and addresses of private hospitals and nursing homes | Who signs the purchase order today; every hospital in the city (see the limits below) |
On the day we looked, the Haryana tender portal's front page was mostly canal, road and HSVP works; health tenders are there, but you find them by filtering by organisation, not by browsing the home page. Our GeM registration guide covers the other route into government buying.
What Starleads' data shows for Gurgaon's healthcare trade
The figures below are counts of contacts in Starleads' data as shown on the list pages on 26 October 2026. They are not an official census of hospitals or doctors.
| List | Contacts | With a mobile | With an email |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hospitals & Nursing Homes in Gurugram | 358 | 75% | 42% |
| Hospitals & Nursing Homes in Haryana | 858 (170 in Faridabad) | 49% | 59% |
| Doctors & Clinics in Gurugram | 2,185 | 94% | 57% |
| Dentists & Dental Clinics in Gurugram | 274 | 95% | 72% |
| Chemists & Medical Stores in Gurugram | 453 | 100% | 60% |
| Facility Management & Security Services in Gurugram | 1,110 | 99% | 94% |
What the numbers say:
- Gurgaon is 42% of Haryana's hospital rows. Of the 858 rows in the Haryana list, 358 are in Gurugram and 170 in Faridabad, followed by Rewari (32), Karnal (28) and Ambala (26). The city's share of the whole state's business listings is similar: the Insights figures count 97,539 businesses in Gurugram out of 2,42,115 in Haryana, about 40%.
- The Gurgaon list is better for phoning than the state list. 75% of Gurgaon rows have a mobile against 49% for Haryana as a whole; 53% have a landline, 11% a website, 63% a contact person's name and 92% a PIN code. Email is the weak spot, at 42%.
- Small hospitals dominate. By type, the biggest groups are Nursing Homes & Clinics (99), Private Hospitals (68) and General Hospitals (24). Where a locality is given, the largest clusters are Gurgaon H.O. (29), DLF City Phase III, Gurgaon Village and Sector 14 (6 each) and DLF City (5).
- Clinics outnumber hospitals six to one. Against 358 hospital rows there are 2,185 doctor and clinic rows, led by general medicine (150) and dentistry (94). A lab or distributor selling to small practices has a much bigger market in the doctors list.
Where the list falls short
We read all 60 rows of the free Gurugram sample before writing this. Most are what you would expect: private hospitals, nursing and maternity homes, eye hospitals, trauma centres on the highway and well-known chains. But you should know about three problems before you buy:
- Not every row is a hospital. Eight of the 60 were other businesses filed under hospitals: a medical device maker in IMT Manesar, another medical products company, a pathology lab, a diagnostics company, an insurance TPA, a hospitality services firm and two others. They can be useful leads in their own right, but filter them out before a hospital campaign.
- A few addresses are outside Gurgaon. Five sample rows had addresses that read as Delhi or Mumbai localities, even though the city column says Gurugram. Check the address before you plan a visit.
- Type labels are rough. One of the city's best-known multi-speciality hospitals is labelled "Nursing Homes", and one clinic appears twice under two spellings. Treat the Type column as a hint, not a classification.
Download the 60-row sample, look at it with these points in mind, and decide whether the cleaning is worth ₹499 to you. Starleads does not promise that every number still works; contact details change, which is why the sample is free.
If you sell beyond the NCR, the Hospitals & Nursing Homes in India list has 22,575 hospitals and nursing homes, 61% of them with a mobile number. The biggest city lists are below.
- Mumbai 3,858 contacts · 23% email · 78% mobile ₹499
- Pune 1,956 contacts · 41% email · 83% mobile ₹499
- Bengaluru 1,821 contacts · 31% email · 88% mobile ₹499
- Jaipur 1,503 contacts · 35% email · 83% mobile ₹499
- Hyderabad 908 contacts · 50% email · 39% mobile ₹499
- Chennai 644 contacts · 67% email · 41% mobile ₹499
- Vadodara 561 contacts · 41% email · 78% mobile ₹499
- Ahmedabad 528 contacts · 56% email · 38% mobile ₹499
- New Delhi 421 contacts · 30% email · 21% mobile ₹499
- Surat 392 contacts · 26% email · 83% mobile ₹499
- Thane 371 contacts · 52% email · 15% mobile ₹499
- Gurugram 340 contacts · 37% email · 76% mobile ₹499
Who sells to Gurgaon's hospitals, and what each one needs
| Seller | Who to reach | Best list to start with |

| Surgical and pharma distributors | Pharmacy head, OT in-charge, purchase officer | Hospital list, plus the chemists list for retail |
| Pathology labs and imaging centres | Nursing homes and clinics without their own lab | Doctors & Clinics in Gurugram |
| Hospital and clinic software | Owner, administrator, IT head | Hospital list for HMS; doctors and dentists lists for clinic software |
| Housekeeping, security, laundry, catering | Administrator or facility manager | Hospital list; the facility services list shows who you compete with |
| Insurance TPAs and staffing firms | Administrator, billing or HR head | Hospital list, Haryana-wide if you cover Faridabad and beyond |
From first call to approved vendor
- Split the list in two. Large hospitals with a purchase office go in one sheet; nursing homes and speciality centres go in another. The first group needs a meeting and paperwork, the second needs a good first call.
- Plan by area. Sort by PIN code and locality. The old city around Railway Road and Civil Lines, the DLF and Sushant Lok belt, Sohna Road and the highway towards Manesar are separate days.
- Call between outpatient sessions. Owner doctors are hard to reach in the morning OPD. Late morning after the rush, or the afternoon break, works better; ask the front desk when the doctor is free.
- Open with something specific. For example: "Namaste, main Neha bol rahi hoon, Udyog Vihar ki ek pathology lab se. Hum Sushant Lok aur DLF ke nursing homes ke liye sample pick-up aur same-day report dete hain. Kya main doctor sahab se do minute baat kar sakti hoon?" (I'm Neha from a pathology lab in Udyog Vihar. We offer sample pick-up and same-day reports to nursing homes in Sushant Lok and DLF. Could I speak to the doctor for two minutes?)
- Have your papers ready. Expect to be asked for your GST registration, a price list, licences or product registrations where they apply, and references from other hospitals. A lab should be ready to show its own registration under the Clinical Establishments Act.
- Follow up on their calendar. Ask when new vendors are reviewed and by whom, note it, and call the week before. Our hospitals list guide explains how hospital purchase decisions are made across India.
Calling and messaging hospitals within the rules
Many nursing home owners and doctors list a personal mobile as the hospital number. TRAI's rules on commercial communication apply to those numbers whichever list they came from:
- DND (NCPR). Under TRAI's customer preference registration facility, anyone can block commercial calls and SMS fully or by category, by SMS or call to 1909, an app or a web portal. "Health" is one of the eight categories, so a doctor can block health-related promotions while still taking others. Check numbers before a promotional campaign; our DND check guide shows how.
- DLT for SMS. Promotional and service SMS have to go through a provider registered on an operator's DLT platform, with a registered sender header and approved templates. Messages that don't match are blocked.
- Number series for calls. Promotional voice calls should come from a registered telemarketer's 140-series number, not a personal mobile.
- Consent for follow-ups. At the end of the first call, ask how the person wants your rate card (WhatsApp, SMS or email), and note the answer and the date. If someone says no, remove them.
Starleads sells lists of businesses and professionals only. It does not sell lists of patients or any other private individuals, and a hospital list must never be used to contact patients.
Selling across the whole NCR? Delhi is outside the central Clinical Establishments Act, according to its portal, and its hospitals sit in a different list; see our hospitals in Delhi and hospitals in Noida guides. For Gurgaon's other trades, start with our list of companies in Gurgaon.
Questions people ask
How many hospitals are there in Gurgaon?
We have not found an official published count. Starleads' Gurugram list had 358 hospitals and nursing homes on 26 October 2026. That is the number of contacts in Starleads' data, not a census, and it includes a few non-hospital rows and misses hospitals not found in the directories the data comes from.
Is every hospital in Gurgaon registered under the Clinical Establishments Act?
Not necessarily. According to the Haryana health department, the Act applies in Haryana to establishments with more than 50 beds and to labs and diagnostic services. Smaller nursing homes may not be in that register, so it is not a complete list.
Does the Gurugram list include Faridabad, Manesar or Sohna?
The Gurugram list is the city list. Faridabad has 170 rows in the Haryana list and no separate hospital list, so buy the state list if you need both cities. Manesar and Sohna addresses appear where the directories filed them under Gurugram.
How do I sell to government hospitals in Gurgaon?
Through tenders and quotations. Watch the Haryana eProcurement portal, filtered by the health department and Gurugram district, the health department's notices, and GeM. Private hospitals buy directly, which is where a contact list helps.
Can I check a hospital before supplying it on credit?
Ask for its GST number and, if it has more than 50 beds or runs a lab, its Clinical Establishments Act registration. If it says it is NABH-accredited, check the NABH site. Visit before the first credit order; a contact list helps you find hospitals, it is not a credit check.
