Dentists email list and dental mailing list for India

The dental register, what a dentists mailing list contains, and how suppliers win clinics.

Why dental suppliers want a dentists email list

Dental clinics buy a steady stream of small things: composites, impression material, burs, gloves, lab work. That is why suppliers often want a dentists email list as well as phone numbers. An email with a price sheet or a course date can be read between patients; a phone call during a root canal cannot be answered. This guide covers who is in a list of dentists, how to check a dentist's registration, and how dealers, labs and trainers win clinics.

Four groups make up the list:

  • General dentists (BDS) running one- or two-chair clinics, often in a residential market or above a row of shops.
  • Specialists (MDS) such as orthodontists, endodontists, prosthodontists, periodontists, oral and maxillofacial surgeons and paediatric dentists. Many are visiting consultants who work in several clinics in a week.
  • Multi-chair clinics and dental chains, where a practice manager handles purchases.
  • Dental colleges and their teaching hospitals, which buy equipment in larger lots.

Checking a dentist's registration, and other free sources

Dentists register with the dental council of the state where they practise, and several state dental councils let you look up a dentist by name or registration number online. That confirms a qualified, registered dentist. It does not give you a clinic phone number or an email address.

Other places suppliers look:

  • Maps and booking apps work as a free dentists directory for one neighbourhood at a time, with clinic names, timings and a front-desk number.
  • Clinic websites and social media pages, which often carry an email address or a contact form.
  • Indian Dental Association branches, which keep member lists, mostly for members' own use.
  • Dental conferences and trade exhibitions, where you can meet many dentists in two days, but only those who attend.

Our dentists email list, by city and speciality

The Dentists & Dental Clinics list has 27,206 dentists and dental clinics in 293 cities. 91% have a mobile number and 60% give the dentist's name. 59% also have an email address, so the list works as a dental mailing list as well as a calling list. Mobile numbers are in +91 format and duplicates are removed. Every list page lets you download a free Excel sample and see 60 rows before paying ₹499.

There are also state-wide dentists lists for 16 states and city lists for 15 cities.

Who sells to dental clinics

  • Dental dealers supplying consumables, hand instruments and sterilisation supplies.
  • Equipment makers and dealers selling dental chairs, intraoral X-ray units and sensors, autoclaves, compressors and intraoral scanners.
  • Dental labs making crowns, bridges and dentures, including digital labs that accept scans.
  • Clear aligner companies looking for orthodontists and general dentists to offer their aligners.
  • Course organisers running implant, aligner and other continuing dental education programmes.
  • Service businesses: clinic software and patient reminders, clinic interiors, equipment finance and bio-medical waste collection.

Geography decides how much of the list you need. A zirconia lab in Chennai that promises quick turnaround can serve only clinics within a day's courier reach, so it might buy the Chennai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad lists, not All India. An online course can use the whole country.

Email first, then call: working a dentist mailing list

  1. Split the list by speciality and city. An implant course goes to general dentists and oral surgeons; an aligner offer goes to orthodontists first.
  2. Set up your domain before you send. Since 2024 Gmail and Yahoo require bulk senders to use SPF, DKIM and DMARC, offer one-click unsubscribe and keep complaints well under 0.3%. Our SPF, DKIM and DMARC guide shows the set-up.
  3. One offer per email. For example, subject "Zirconia crowns in 4 working days, Chennai pick-up", then: "Dr Lakshmi, we are a dental lab in Ambattur. We collect impressions from Anna Nagar clinics every evening. Would a free trial case help you compare us with your current lab?"
  4. Call two or three days later. Many clinics run a morning and an evening session, so the early afternoon gap is the easiest time to get the dentist on the line.
  5. Expect practical questions: turnaround time, remakes, the material brand and its certificates, pick-up and delivery, price per unit and credit terms. Equipment buyers ask who services the machine in their city and how quickly spares arrive.

Our cold email templates have more subject lines and follow-ups, and the DND guide explains the rules for calls and SMS.

Common questions from dental suppliers

How many dentists in the list have an email address?

59% of the 27,206 dentists and dental clinics have one, and 91% have a mobile number. Each city list shows its own shares before you buy, and they differ from city to city, so check the one you want.

Is the clinic mobile number the dentist's personal number?

In small clinics it often is. Treat it as a business line: call during clinic hours, keep it short, and stop if asked. Anyone can have their details removed through our removal page.

Can I get only orthodontists or endodontists?

Yes. Use the specialist lists above, or filter the category column of the full list. For a combination we do not sell, such as orthodontists in five Gujarat cities, request a custom list.

Are dentists also in the doctors list?

Some dental clinics appear in our doctors list under dentistry. The dedicated dentists list is the one to use for dental products; the doctors list guide covers general clinics and specialists.
